We prefer to take family formal photos immediately after the ceremony; this is easiest for guests and organization. To make this as successful as possible (ie the least confusing for everyone involved and as quick as we can), we would love both of your help in this process. Please note that that each grouping will take approximately 3-4 minutes to complete depending on the size of each party.
Please ensure you are mindful of time restraints when it comes to adding additional family formal photos. To make this process easier, we suggest that your officiant makes an announcement either at the beginning or end of the ceremony regarding family formal photos taking place and the location of said photos. Please ensure everyone who is required for said family formals is ready to begin at the agreed timeline start time and in the desired location. Like we've said, each grouping will take roughly 3-4 minute dependent on how many people are in each desired shot.
Please let us know the NAMES of each person involved in each photo, and the family formal photos you desire.
Wedding party and bride/groom photo/film location if offsite from venue (please note if you'd like us to help suggest locations, we are more than happy to!). Please also make note that we prefer a minimum of one hour of portrait time with the wedding party & bride/groom once we have arrived at the photo/video location. Please be mindful when crafting your timeline to allow for this.
A well thought out timeline will allow for your wedding day to run smoothly, and allow us to photography + video to the best of our capabilities. Please note some helpful tips as per your welcome guide.
Dinner being served (we will be eating at the same time that the wedding party eats as well as the same meal, please let your caterer know as appropriate), speeches (and amount of speeches/toasts), cake cutting, first dances etc, garter toss, bouquet toss etc.
